Brilliant upgrade? Total nuisance? Tell us your take!

In the middle of June, Xbox at long last expanded its new Game Hubs to the general public following months of Insider trials, and right away social timelines and Pure Xbox comment sections filled with pleas for instructions on how to disable the feature.

In fact, feedback over at Pure Xbox skewed sharply negative, with a striking 61 % of responders (drawn from 1,263 ballots) declaring they “aren’t keen” on the Xbox Game Hubs and feel the screens “get in the way”.

The previous poll has since shut, yet the final tally remains visible underneath:

  1. I like them, a good new feature!17%
  2. They’re alright I guess?19%
  3. Not a fan, they’re getting in the way!61%

Given that four weeks have passed and any growing pains should feel less jarring, how do these hubs sit with you now? Hate remains an option—we’ve posted directions for switching them off here—but note pressing X lets you skip straight past whenever you boot something from your “Recently Played” tiles.

We’re reviving the survey for another run—you’ll spot an updated poll beneath:
