Stalker 2 Team Shares Parting Message Ahead Of Xbox Game Pass Departure

If you haven’t noticed, Stalker 2 is included in the group of titles departing Xbox Game Pass in early November, with the precise date being November 15th – it should have vanished from the service by the close of Saturday.

To commemorate its exit, an extensive message has been posted on social media by the Stalker 2 team, expressing that the Xbox partnership has been “one of the most radiant collaborations we’ve ever experienced”.

Here’s a portion from it:

“This initiative began with a single email and evolved into one of the most radiant collaborations we’ve ever experienced. A connection was formed that ultimately made millions of gamers delighted.”

“We’ve mentioned this repeatedly, but we are genuinely appreciative of the Xbox team for all the cooperation, extraordinary showcases, heartfelt support, and remarkable professionalism. Your assistance was always noticeable, even during the bleakest times. Together, we provided gamers with an unforgettable experience. We are truly proud of our shared accomplishments. This journey without you would have been, at the very least, entirely different.”

Stalker 2 first debuted as a “day one” launch for Xbox Game Pass on November 20th, 2024, and it’s reasonable to say the launch wasn’t particularly smooth, with various updates working out some of the problems over the past year.

The game is currently in a significantly better state these days, with “new narratives and experiences, story expansions, and many surprises that we’re already preparing” in the pipeline. In other words, it might be worth securing permanently if you are a fan of it!

It’s said that the “best is yet to come” for Stalker 2… we just unfortunately won’t be able to witness it on Xbox Game Pass.
