They’re not slowing down with this!
it was announced back in July that Antstream Arcade’s Xbox Retro Classics service on Xbox Game Pass would be adding another 100+ games in 2025 and 2026, and we’ve seen around 25 additions in the past few months alone.
Last month, we highlighted seven games that had been added to Retro Classics in July, and now we’re doing the same again this month – the team has already added seven games in August, with potentially more to come as well!
Here’s an overview of what’s been added, along with the full list of seven new games below:
- Climber 5 (Atari 2600)
- Private Eye (Atari 2600)
- The Colonel’s Bequest (Amiga)
- Caesar 3 (Windows 9x)
- Shootin’ Gallery (Atari 2600)
- Oystron (Atari 2600)
- Wing War (Atari 2600)
In terms of highlights here, Caesar 3 is the one that immediately stands out to us – released back in 1998 for Windows and Mac and serving as the final entry in the series until 2006 finally gave us Caesar IV. The Colonel’s Bequest is another one that’s well worth a try – a classic adventure game from 1989 developed by the beloved Sierra On-Line.
We’ll keep letting you know when more games join Xbox Retro Classics over the coming months, and don’t forget that Antstream Arcade has an even bigger library of retro titles – Xbox Retro Classics is basically a sampler of that service.
