Exhibitions for six months consecutively? Absolutely!

If it seems like we’re experiencing Xbox exhibitions virtually every month currently, that’s because, quite frankly… we effectively are! Aside from July (which is understandable considering June’s Xbox Games Showcase), we’ve witnessed monthly exhibitions in the second half of 2025 thus far – including August’s Gamescom Opening Night Live, September’s Tokyo Game Show, and October’s ID@Xbox Showcase. And, it appears that the next three months will also be filled with Xbox-related happenings.
For November 2025, we’re anticipating an Xbox Partner Preview event, at least as per Windows Central’s Jez Corden. The Xbox journalist seems assured about that, with the evidently third-party-centric show expected to spotlight a myriad of Xbox Play Anywhere titles. Anticipate hearing about this officially in the upcoming weeks.
Transitioning to December 2025, Geoff Keighley will be hosting his yearly The Game Awards spectacle – with this year’s event scheduled for December 11th. This event isn’t organized by Xbox, naturally, but numerous Xbox games will be showcased at the event; TGA usually encompasses nearly every platform holder and publisher as teams utilize the winter period to present significant updates on upcoming titles.
Lastly, continuing the trend of the last three years, Xbox Developer Direct is anticipated to return in January 2026; last year’s event took place on January 23rd for a timeframe reference. Although the precise timing and the titles for this event haven’t been confirmed yet, Xbox is set to launch some huge titles next year – including Fable, Forza Horizon 6, Gears of War: E-Day, and Halo: Campaign Evolved. It is reasonable to believe that all of these titles could potentially appear at the Microsoft first-party showcase in January.
Considering the three previously-concluded events we mentioned at the start, this would signify six months of monthly Xbox-related exhibitions – and February 2025 actually produced its own ID@Xbox show, so Microsoft might even extend it to a seven-month streak! Regardless, Xbox is clearly committed to offering as many shows for its forthcoming games as feasible, even if communication outside these events is somewhat inconsistent at this moment.
