We can safely say here at Pure Xbox that we’ve been buzzing about the ROG Xbox Ally ever since it debuted during the Xbox Games Showcase last month. Still, plenty of unknowns linger—questions that should start finding answers under a month from now at Gamescom 2025.
Indeed, as revealed in today’s Gamescom briefing from Team Green, the ROG Xbox Ally will command major stage time at Europe’s upcoming gaming bonanza. Beyond an Xbox livestream slot, the device will be hands-on at the show floor—we’re about to see daily impressions from everyday players flood the internet.
That’s tremendously thrilling, because nothing beats unfiltered gamer feedback. Official Microsoft briefings are great, but it’s only once the public gets its mitts on the handheld that we’ll truly understand what makes it tick. We’re optimistic about the twin Asus-designed Xbox handhelds, and next month should prove—or disprove—those feelings.
