By Gears is about to be Revamped

The news is out; Gears is returning this summer when Gears of War: Reloaded launches on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC – but which game in the series do you prefer?
Indeed, we recently discussed Gears making its debut on PS5 and our mixed feelings about it – yet as Xbox enthusiasts, we can confidently state that we’ve experienced plenty of moments with this franchise over nearly twenty years of console gaming. Choosing an ultimate favorite is quite difficult!
The first installment’s unsettling ambiance and straightforward gameplay feels refreshing even now, and it will always stand out as a highlight in the series. The finale of Epic Games’ original trilogy — Gears of War 3 — is also a strong candidate. In terms of sheer quality, we believe Gears 3 might be the most remarkable entry in the whole collection.
That said, we certainly don’t overlook The Coalition’s contributions to the series since Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. Gears of War 4 and Gears 5 each have their own merits – and the latter is extremely impressive with its upgrade for Xbox Series X|S. It’s still regarded as one of the best-looking Xbox titles of the present generation!
