Just over a month ago, Microsoft made a significant announcement regarding its revamped Xbox Game Pass offerings. At the beginning of October, the corporation unveiled a new tier called Game Pass Premium, while increasing costs for PC and the Ultimate version; the latter now featuring Ubisoft+ Classics and Fortnite Crew benefits. So, a month later, on which Xbox Game Pass tier did you ultimately choose?
Now, shortly after all of this information was initially disclosed, we posed a similar query to you all – so you might have participated in that poll as well. However, we were still trying to understand these modifications at that moment, and we now wish to reconnect with the PX community to see where you all eventually stood with these new editions of Xbox Game Pass.
At the time, we also provided a brief response on how Game Pass Premium appears to offer considerable value following the Ultimate price increase – and to be honest, that still seems to hold true. Microsoft pledged new commitments for first-party games being available within 12 months as part of its launch (excluding Call of Duty), and the collection has indeed continued to expand since the tier’s introduction. For instance, two of today’s three new Game Pass offerings are accessible to Premium members as well; this is emerging as a trend for titles that aren’t day-one releases.
So, it’s time for a new poll! We want to discover which XGP tier you’ve now selected (Essential, Premium, Ultimate, or PC). Alternatively, we’d also like to know if you’ve opted to terminate your Xbox Game Pass subscription over the previous month. We recognize that some of you may have existing subscriptions that are ongoing, and in that scenario, please inform us which tier you plan to subscribe to when that concludes!
