The gadget is accessible to the general public at this moment

Microsoft’s significant handheld debut day has passed — the ROG Xbox Ally is currently open to the public, and numerous opinions are already available — hence our survey today focuses on whether the product’s initial feedback has persuaded you to acquire one, or at the very least made you contemplate it.

If you haven’t seen it yet, we had a couple of weeks with the ROG Xbox Ally X before the reveal, and we published our comprehensive Pure Xbox review of that specific unit just a few days ago. We had an enjoyable experience with the device overall; referring to it as an “exceptional handheld PC with abundant console-like potential”.

Examining the wider range of reviews, however, the responses are somewhat more varied. While many outlets shared our admiration for the gadget, some sites are not entirely favorable about it – and a few even doubt whether it qualifies as an Xbox at all, given its PC-like characteristics and limited compatibility with existing console game libraries. Microsoft is marketing the product as a novel method to experience Xbox, but that strategy is receiving mixed reactions thus far.

Nevertheless, most people seem to concur that the hardware is quite impressive, and with software enhancements, this device could become more appealing to console fans over time. Yet, for now, are you drawn to purchase one of these? Have you already made the decision? Take a look at our survey below before making a selection and sharing your thoughts in the comments!
