Steam Beta initially, and then on Xbox
- by Ben Kerry
Bethesda has today announced its most recent update for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, with new difficulty settings being a significant focus for the developers this time.
Oblivion Remastered Update 1.2 is now being deployed for Steam Beta participants, with the Xbox update to follow soon. Here’s a brief note from the team regarding these newly available difficulty settings in patch 1.2:
“We’ve incorporated extra difficulty levels to enable players to further adjust their ‘Player Combat Damage’ & ‘Enemy Combat Damage.’ Players can select from ‘Novice,’ ‘Apprentice,’ ‘Adept,’ ‘Journeyman,’ ‘Expert,’ and ‘Master’ options in the Gameplay settings. We trust the ‘Journeyman’ level, in particular, will serve as a more optimal transition between ‘Adept’ and ‘Expert’ for players.”
