By But will it contain the game on disc?
Good news, everyone! It’s been confirmed today that Oblivion Remastered will indeed be getting a physical release for both Xbox Series X and PS5 in October, and pre-orders have actually begun over at The Game Collection in the UK.
The Game Collection was the company that broke the news a few hours ago, and they were immediately inundated with questions about whether the Xbox version is on-disc or not. Unfortunately, they aren’t aware either way right now.
In terms of this version specifically, it’s being advertised for a price of £34.95 on the website, and the release date is set for October 13th, 2025. The box strangely also mentions that it’s for Xbox Series S in addition to Xbox Series X and “Windows”, so that leads us to believe it might just be a code-in-a-box situation. We’ll see!
