NACON Is Kicking Off The Xbox Birthday Celebrations With This 360-Inspired Controller
This weekend signifies the 20th anniversary of Xbox 360, and accessory producer NACON is getting a jumpstart with its announcement of a new limited-edition controller for Xbox and PC.
Well, we mention jumpstart, but this unique edition ‘Revolution X Unlimited’ gamepad doesn’t actually debut until next February. Nevertheless, the design of this device has been spot-on – from the color palette to the classic-style face buttons and that customizable display on top; this seems like quite an impressive endeavor.
We are considering a $200/£200 controller here, equipped with hall-effect sticks, trigger stops, additional buttons on the rear, controller configurations, and more. Here are some extra images of the gamepad, courtesy of NACON:
As you can observe in those pictures above, the default controller profile display appears rather conventional, but it seems that you can tailor this to integrate a ‘mini’ blades-style dashboard up there to commemorate the anniversary – at least that is what the leading image suggests. The controller listing merely indicates that the screen allows for “simple and intuitive customization”, so we’ll need to determine how this operates in practice as NACON hasn’t entirely confirmed its functionality.
Nevertheless, below is the controller’s complete feature list, and we’ll throw in a brief teaser underneath that as well. NACON mentions its Special Anniversary Edition Revolution X Unlimited controller will be released on February 16th, 2026.
