Emails have been shared by some MS Rewards members
We’ve got a little update to share on Microsoft Rewards today, as it’s being reported that the service might be ditching the ability to auto-redeem Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscriptions at the end of the month.
For those who aren’t aware of it, the clue is in the name – auto-redeem allows you to set up a service where your Microsoft Rewards points are automatically and consistently redeemed for Xbox Game Pass membership time.
However, as first covered by True Achievements, it seems an email about its discontinuation has been received by some Microsoft Rewards members. Here’s a look at one of them:
The reason why we’re saying “might” in the headline is because reports are very minimal right now and there’s a chance the discontinuation could be restricted to certain regions – so we’ll let you know if we get more information on this.
And of course, this doesn’t affect the ability to redeem your Microsoft Rewards points for standard Xbox Game Pass subscriptions, as well as lots of other rewards like Xbox gift cards.
If you’ve been affected by this, please let us know! Tell us if you’ve had the same email in the comments section.
