This week, Microsoft has officially launched the Xbox Spring Sale 2025 – featuring discounts on over 1,000 games as part of this extensive campaign. In a delightful twist, some Xbox users are being rewarded with complimentary gift cards to promote additional purchasing during the Spring Sale.
According to posts on Reddit, a select number of Xbox players are receiving complimentary Microsoft Store gift cards of either $5 or $10 directly in their inboxes. Here’s a glimpse of the type of notification you could receive if you’re one of the fortunate few:
This isn’t just a single user celebrating their good fortune. Numerous comments within this discussion indicate others have also benefited, with several mentioning needing to log in to their secondary, less frequently used accounts to discover the offer.
At PX HQ, we haven’t encountered this offer in our UK inboxes as of yet – notably, the examples we’ve seen appear to be US-focused, potentially explaining our lack of Xbox treats up to this point. Naturally, given the vast number of Xbox users, this promotion may indeed be quite limited.
