This new floor is about to get chaotic

Tripwire Interactive, the creators behind Killing Floor 3, have revealed that their forthcoming zombie-slaying title for Xbox will debut on July 24th, 2025, after a challenging beta phase that occurred in February.
Before that beta was introduced to the players, Killing Floor 3 was scheduled to launch on Xbox Series X|S in March, but varied feedback on the game’s offering prompted the team to reconsider their release approach.
Here’s some additional insight from the developers on what they’ve been focusing on since the postponement:
“After pushing back the launch of Killing Floor 3, we have committed our extra development time to addressing the community’s input, ensuring that the next installment in this beloved cult action/horror series fulfills our collective vision.
The encouragement from our players has been phenomenal, and with the new release date of July 24th approaching, we’re excited to present that vision to gamers not just at launch but with ongoing updates of new features and content, which is a hallmark of our studio.”
This community input covered various issues such as “design, art, user interface, and animations,” and Tripwire has stated all these aspects have been refined for the game’s upcoming July launch. You can also anticipate numerous updates following release, as Killing Floor 2 received extensive support for years after its initial release.
Here at Pure Xbox, we managed to fit in some beta gameplay back in February and, we too, walked away with concerns regarding certain elements of Killing Floor 3. The performance on Xbox Series X was quite inconsistent, and the artwork & UI felt lackluster and difficult to fully appreciate during play. Let’s hope that this delay improves the overall experience for the July 24th release.
