Here’s What The First Reviews Are Saying About Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch
It’s been some time since we previously discussed Disney Dreamlight Valley here at Pure Xbox, yet it keeps demonstrating to be an enormous success on Xbox Game Pass, and it’s receiving a significant new expansion today called Wishblossom Ranch.
In fact, this expansion is now available for purchase on the Xbox Store, presenting the “ranch of your dreams” for you to reconstruct, along with fresh villagers such as Snow White, Tinker Bell, Cruella De Vil, and Tigger, along with three horses represented by Maximus, Khan, and Pegasus, and the capacity to form relationships and care for those horses.
But how are the reviews faring? Well, both IGN and Destructoid have published evaluations for Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch today, and here’s what they’re expressing about it:
Destructoid (Very Positive)
“Wishblossom Ranch is a success—a meticulously crafted expansion that encapsulates everything enchanting about the game while also introducing an enthralling new world to explore. It’s uncommon for a game you already cherish to still astonish you, but this expansion achieves that with ease, evoking nostalgia I wasn’t even aware existed.”
IGN (6/10)
“Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Wishblossom Ranch expansion is an intriguing new segment in a cozy game I’ve relished over the past several years, but it suffers from certain developmental issues. The new locales are filled with some of the most imaginative elements I’ve encountered in a life simulator lately, and the equine companions you can ride provide enjoyable ways to partake in familiar cozy tasks, not to mention making traveling significantly quicker.
I would have appreciated more thrilling new characters to befriend, and the grind to enhance your relationship with each of the mounts has unnecessarily restrictive time limits that I could have done without, but these shortcomings didn’t diminish the enjoyable moments too significantly. Rather, the primary concern is that, at the point of this review, Wishblossom Ranch has been excessively buggy to fully relish (or in my case, even complete without a workaround).”
If you’re keen on acquiring it, Wishblossom Ranch can be found on the Xbox Store for a price of £24.99 / $29.99, but you obviously need Disney Dreamlight Valley to utilize it (either by owning it or accessing it via Xbox Game Pass).
Alternatively, there’s a Deluxe Edition for £41.74 / $49.99 that includes three exclusive items, including a mount for Sven from Disney’s Frozen, or you can opt for the pricier Wishblossom Ranch / Ultimate Editions—both of which incorporate the base game along with various additional in-game perks.
We’ll leave you with a few more details alongside screenshots below.
Situated among the Wishblossom Mountains is a special realm fueled by the heart’s deepest desires, where horses once galloped freely, and stables were bustling with life. That was until the Ranch came under the care of someone who neglected it, leading to a mysterious occurrence—the Decay. Prepare for an adventure with your enchanting new Disney companions to locate the missing horses, reverse the effects of the Decay, and restore the Ranch to its former splendor!
