GTA 6 Characters, Locations & Screenshots Revealed In Massive Info Blowout

You may have already noticed that Rockstar Games has launched Trailer 2 for GTA 6 today, but the studio has also shared a wealth of additional details about the game on its official site, along with more than 50 new images.

To begin with, there’s an official synopsis of the narrative featuring the protagonists Jason and Lucia:

Jason and Lucia have always been aware that the odds are against them. But when a simple job goes awry, they discover themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest location in America, caught in a criminal conspiracy that spans the state of Leonida — compelled to depend on one another like never before if they hope to survive.

The studio then elaborates on all the unique characters you will encounter, including the two leads.

Characters

Jason Duval

Jason was raised among swindlers and criminals. After a term in the Army attempting to escape his troubled youth, he found himself in the Keys doing what he knows best, working for local drug dealers. It may be the moment to try a different path. Meeting Lucia could become the best or worst twist in his life. Jason envisions a favorable outcome, but currently, it’s difficult to determine.

Lucia Caminos

Ever since then, life has been challenging. Fighting for her family led to her incarceration in the Leonida Penitentiary. Pure luck freed her. Lucia has learned her lesson — only strategic moves from here on. More than anything, Lucia wishes for the better life her mother dreamed of since their days in Liberty City — but instead of misguided fantasies, Lucia is ready to take matters into her own hands. Recently released from prison and eager to shift the odds in her favor, Lucia is unwavering in her plan — whatever it takes.

Cal Hampton

Jason’s buddy and a collaborative associate of Brian, Cal feels most at ease at home, listening to Coast Guard communications with some beers and a few private browser tabs open. Cal is at the low tide of America and content there. Casual suspicion enjoys company, but his companion Jason harbors grander ambitions.

Boobie Ike

Boobie is a notable Vice City figure — and behaves accordingly. One of the few who turned his street hustle into a legitimate empire encompassing real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio — Boobie’s all smiles until business discussions unfold. While he may appear self-serving, his association with the upcoming music mogul Dre’Quan for Only Raw Records is where his true commitment lies — now they just need a hit.

Dre’Quan Priest

Dre’Quan has always been more of a hustler than a criminal. Even when he was dealing on the streets to make ends meet, breaking into the music scene was his goal. Now that he’s signed the Real Dimez, Dre’Quan’s days of booking acts at Boobie’s establishment might be limited as he sets his sights on the Vice City music landscape.

Real Dimez

Bae-Luxe and Roxy, known as Real Dimez, have been close friends since high school — savvy girls adept at converting their time hustling local dealers into substantial profits through catchy rap songs and an unyielding social media strategy. A breakout single with local rapper DWNPLY elevated Real Dimez’s profile. Now, after five years filled with challenges, they’re signed to Only Raw Records, hoping for a second success.

Raul Bautista

Charisma, wit, and cleverness — Raul is an experienced bank robber perpetually searching for talent eager to take the risks that yield the greatest returns. Raul’s impulsiveness escalates the stakes with every heist. Eventually, his crew will need to either amplify their efforts or withdraw.

Brian Heder

Brian’s a traditional drug trafficker from the peak era of smuggling in the Keys. Still transporting goods through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori, Brian’s been around long enough to delegate the tough tasks to others. Brian allows Jason to stay for free at one of his properties — as long as Jason assists with local shake-downs and drops by for Lori’s sangria now and then.

Locations

Vice City

The allure, bustle, and avarice of America encapsulated within a single city. Every neighborhood has something unique, from the vibrant art deco hotels and shimmering sands of Ocean Beach, to the lively panaderías of Little Cuba and the bootleg brands at the Tisha-Wocka flea market, extending to the VC Port, renowned as the cruise ship hub of the globe.

Leonida Keys

Life in this tropical archipelago is not extravagant, but it’s laid-back. Grab a drink and relax on a deck chair, but beware — you are right next to some of the most stunning and perilous waters in all of America.

Grassrivers

You never know what secrets lie beneath the surface of this primal landscape. The alligators may be the most recognized attraction, yet there are considerably more perilous predators and strange sightings among the mangroves.

Port Gellhorn

Inexpensive motels, closed attractions, and deserted strip malls won’t entice tourists back, but there’s a new economy in this once-favored vacation destination. It thrives on cheap alcohol, painkillers, and energy drinks from truck stops. Hop on a dirt bike and hold onto your wallet.

Ambrosia

In the core of Leonida, American industry and traditional values still prevail — at any expense. The Allied Crystal sugar refinery provides employment, while the local biker gang contributes nearly everything else.

Mount Kalaga

A national treasure positioned along the state’s northern border, Mount Kalaga offers excellent hunting, fishing, and off-road trails. In the lush surrounding woodlands, hillbilly mystics and paranoid radicals dwell away from the watchful eyes of the authorities.

There are numerous more screenshots than those displayed above, but we can’t include them all here – so we’ll highlight a few more that we find noteworthy below.

Keep in mind that GTA 6 was recently postponed for all platforms, including Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, setting its new release date to May 26th, 2026. It’s going to be a lengthy wait, especially after how impressive all this appears!
