Drivatar AI Enhancements
We’ve implemented a significant update to our AI system focused on safer and cleaner racing. This includes notable advancements in collision avoidance and side-by-side actions, particularly during challenging race starts. Visit Forza.net to discover more about these AI modifications.
Steering Wheel (Plug and Play) Updates
This update introduces new features for steering wheels in Forza Motorsport, including calibration and authentic car-specific turns lock-to-lock. This will notably benefit race cars, which typically have fewer degrees of lock-to-lock steering.
Previously, the standard steering behavior utilized the complete range of your wheel for all vehicles – this could be adjusted globally in the Settings menu or per car in the Tuning Setup menu.
With this release, as we now accurately simulate steering sensitivity for each vehicle, we needed to reset the user’s “Steering Lock Range” in the Tune Setup and “Steering Sensitivity” in the Settings menu.
The default force feedback parameters have also been modified for most wheels. If you have already customized your steering wheel settings, the new defaults will not overwrite your configuration. Check the Advanced Wheel settings to calibrate for the optimal experience.
Soundtrack
A selection of music from Forza Motorsport 3, 4, 5, and 6 has been incorporated into the game’s music playlist, alongside three new music sequences from Forza Motorsport 3-5 composer, Lance Hayes.
