Earlier this week, it was disclosed that Forza Horizon 5 was among the top three best-selling titles on PS5 for April, and now we seem to have the most precise figures yet regarding its sales.
According to Alinea Analytics, Forza Horizon 5 has reached the 1.2 million sales milestone on PS5 after only two weeks on the platform, making it the most significant success of the latest Xbox releases on Sony’s console.
The co-founder of the company notes, “Microsoft’s gaming approach is evidently gaining traction,” and with DOOM, Tony Hawk, and Gears of War: Reloaded on the horizon, there appears to be no indication of deceleration.
Regarding Forza Horizon 6, it’s reasonable to assume that Xbox will aim for a simultaneous release across Xbox, PC, and PS5 for that launch, although we might be waiting quite some time until then—especially until these sales start to taper off!
