“It is an honour to be supporting Forza”
- by Ben Kerry
With Phil Spencer confirming that a new Forza game is coming to Xbox next year, all eyes are on a potential Forza Horizon 6 gracing our screens within the next year or so – and now, fans reckon that they’ve sussed out where exactly the game will be set.
Basically, Australian car import company ‘Cult & Classic’ posted on Instagram recently (shared on Reddit), mentioning that they were “working on the next installment” of the Forza Horizon series. In that post, the company revealed that it was scanning the digital versions of ‘Kei Cars’ for the next FH game; a type of vehicle that’s native to Japan and a big part of the country’s car culture.
The post didn’t outright state that Forza Horizon 6 is going to be set in Japan, but fans are taking this as a massive hint that we could be getting a Japan-themed FH title next – as you can see in the above Reddit thread. It’s been one of the most requested locations for the series for years, and would no doubt get a great reception if it were to be announced by Xbox.
Of course, Microsoft hasn’t confirmed this at all just yet, and the Instagram post was swiftly taken down – so we’re not likely to get an official announcement anytime soon. With Phil & co. confirming the next Forza game for 2026 though, it shouldn’t be too long until we find out exactly where we’re heading in Horizon 6.
