The folks over at Sandfall Interactive are probably thrilled with how their new RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has gone down so far – and now, a bunch of other big game devs have congratulated the studio on its “incredible launch”.
One of those devs is the team behind Final Fantasy VII – which, given the game’s clear inspiration from turn-based classics like FF7 itself, is some very high praise indeed. Here’s the full message from the Final Fantasy VII team:
We’ve spotted a few other industry messages of support too, which is lovely to see. Baldur’s Gate 3 dev Swen Vincke has congratulated the entire team, while Compulsion Games — the folks behind Xbox’s South of Midnight — has highlighted how the incredible launch has further contributed to a great month for Xbox Game Pass users.
Here at Pure Xbox, we’d also like to extend our own congratulations to the team at Sandfall on this very successful XGP launch. We’ve had our eyes locked onto Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 for a long time, and we came away incredibly impressed in our review recently.
