Welcome to your Xbox games roundup for July 28-August 1! Things are quietening down a bit in terms of major new releases, but we’ve still got the likes of Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound and Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game on the way, while Xbox Game Pass is treating us to Farming Simulator 25 and the brand-new Grounded 2!

Here’s what’s coming to Xbox next week:

New Xbox Releases (July 28 – August 1)

  • Achilles Survivor (July 29): “Fight like a demigod, build deadly defenses, and grow stronger after every run in this fast-paced bullet hell set in mythic Greece.”

  • Day of the Shell (July 29): “Day of the Shell is a fast-paced tactical roguelite, where each turn is played in a single click.”

  • Above Snakes (July 31): “Step into a handcrafted Wild West-inspired world in this relaxing isometric adventure RPG with light survival elements.”
  • Cook Serve Forever (July 31): “Bathe in the sights, sounds, and story of Cook Serve Forever, a narrative cooking game where you serve delicious recipes to the hungry masses of Helianthus.”
  • Earthion (July 31): “Earthion is a side-scrolling space shooter developed natively for 16-bit systems. Guide space fighter pilot Azusa Takanashi in her fight to repel the alien invaders and save planet Earth.”
  • Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound (July 31): “A brand-new side-scrolling entry to the NINJA GAIDEN series from the team behind Blasphemous, NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound redefines the classic platformer saga in a spectacular, thrilling and challenging ninja adventure.”
