Owing to a low-profile reveal at the end of August, word spread that Euro Truck Simulator 2 together with American Truck Simulator will roll onto Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, yet neither received an exact launch day back then.
Nevertheless, each title now hosts listings on the Xbox Store, and the creators urged supporters to tap “Wishlist” to boost visibility—something well over half a million gamers have done across Xbox and PS5 in the past fortnight.
The figure is striking, especially since plenty of Xbox owners remain unaware the wishlist feature is even there; the early enthusiasm hints at chart-topping debuts when the sims finally arrive.
Beyond wishlists, the August news story we ran drew exceptional traffic, and for days afterwards both ETS2 and ATS sat among the platform’s trending topics—further proof that console audiences are eager to climb aboard.
This fervor shouldn’t shock anyone who’s followed the PC scene: the pair rank among the most celebrated driving simulators ever crafted, with ETS2 alone currently entertaining 25,000 concurrent drivers on Steam.
