Fallout appears to be in the pipeline as well
Raise your hand if you’re keen on seeing multiple remasters from Bethesda!
It seems that could indeed be happening, as at least two significant Bethesda titles from the Xbox 360 generation are rumored to be receiving remastered versions. The first of these is Oblivion Remastered, which has generated a lot of buzz over the last few days and is expected to launch sometime next week. Quite imminent, to say the least!
Another title buzzing in discussions is Fallout 3 Remastered. Recently, alleged insider NateTheHate shared on social platforms that a remaster for Fallout 3 is “in the works,” although he advises us not to anticipate its arrival anytime soon.
If you reflect on the largest leak in Xbox history from a couple of years back, the leaked information indicated that both Oblivion and a Fallout 3 remaster were underway.
We didn’t give it much thought at that time since Phil Spencer referred to the documents as being outdated, but now with Oblivion Remastered shaping up to be genuine, it stands to reason that Fallout 3 Remastered could also be authentic.
At that time, Fallout 3 Remastered was slated for a release much later than Oblivion Remastered, suggesting we may have an extended wait for its unveiling. No additional Bethesda remasters were specified in those documents, although some titles were only listed with codenames instead of their complete names.
So, there we have it! It seems that Bethesda indeed has more than just a couple of remasters in development, and here’s hoping that there might be even more. Which Bethesda titles do you think warrant the remaster treatment?
Feel free to share your opinions on these Bethesda remasters in the comments section below.
