By Battlefield is back

Well, there we have it. EA has finally showcased some Battlefield 6 goodness after months of teasing and internal testing – and as you’d probably expect, it has a very ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare‘ look to it at this early stage.
We must add that the team’s debut trailer does say that this is “game engine footage” and “not actual gameplay”, but nonetheless, the game’s serious military tone has already been set out here. You can catch the footage in question up above.
As for any other major details, well, the reveal was rather short on anything concrete. We do know that the full multiplayer reveal is coming on July 31st, but aside from that, EA is staying tight-lipped on the game for the moment. We’ve heard strong reports that BF6 will be launching on Xbox this October, but as of now, the publisher hasn’t confirmed that release date.
Anyway, we’ll chuck a link to those reports down below, which also detail some of EA’s pricing plans for the game’s upcoming launch. Battlefield is making its grand return imminently, and we’re very intrigued to see the end result.
