Full list of launch maps revealed as well
Activision is getting ready to show off Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 multiplayer at a special “Call of Duty: NEXT” event on September 30th, but before we get there, a new trailer shows us a little of what to expect from this year’s edition.
You can watch that trailer up above, and the development team has gone into extensive detail over on the official Call of Duty website, which includes a full reveal of all multiplayer maps that’ll be in the game when it launches.
You’ll find additional details on each of them by hitting the link above (along with info on weapons, game modes and a whole lot more), but here’s a brief overview of what to expect from these 18 day one locations:
“Launching with 16 6v6 Multiplayer maps plus two large-scale 20v20 Skirmish maps, Black Ops 7 has been built to deliver intense, tactical action across a variety of environments from the Atlantic Ocean to the Alaskan tundra. The 2035 setting imagines near future possibilities while remaining grounded in the Black Ops universe, each map is designed for fast gunplay and around the original three-lane design Treyarch is famous for.”
“Expect a variety of map sizes catering to every type of player, from those craving instant action on very small-sized arenas to those wanting longer-ranged, tactical engagements across medium-sized combat zones. Below are the maps available to play during the Beta as well as coming at launch, including the return of three Black Ops 2 fan favorites!”
