16 Ubisoft Titles Now Available On Microsoft’s PC Store, Adding Fuel To The Xbox Handheld Fire

Last week was filled with additional Xbox handheld updates – first via leaked visuals & information about the system, followed by some intriguing moves Microsoft appears to be making for the device’s forthcoming release. Among these moves was a collection of Ubisoft PC games being transitioned to the Microsoft Store – a development the French publisher has officially acknowledged.

Taking to social media today, Ubisoft revealed that 16 of its prominent PC titles are now available for purchase on the Xbox PC app. None of these Ubisoft games had previously been offered on Microsoft’s PC platform – and some have been around for quite some time.

Although there’s no formal mention of the Xbox partner handheld device in this context, the timing of these releases is definitely noteworthy. The handheld leaks from last week hinted at a reveal by Asus next week, indicating that Microsoft and Ubisoft are preparing for both that announcement and the subsequent product launch.

• Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint
• Tom Clancy’s The Division 2
• Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands
• Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction
• Watch Dogs 2
• Watch Dogs: Legion

One minor issue with this update is that, seemingly, none of these titles are Xbox Play Anywhere compatible – which means if you own these games on console and wish to play them on an Xbox PC device, you would need to purchase them anew.
