To check if you’ve been chosen for one, you should visit your Xbox messages (“Chats”) to see if there’s any notification from Xbox regarding the Countdown Sale. It’s possible you’ll stumble upon an example of what you’re looking for below:
There are occasions where these promotions seem to be quite common, but for this instance, we’re only observing a few examples here and there. It appears that the gift cards may currently be limited to Xbox users in the United States, but there’s a good chance they could also expand to other regions soon – it’s certainly worth keeping an eye out!
One last point we’d like to emphasize is to stay cautious with communications like this. Bots and scammers can often infiltrate your Xbox messages, so if you notice anything suspicious that doesn’t seem to be directly from Xbox, it’s advisable not to engage with it.
