A Year of ‘Indie Selects’
One year ago, Xbox launched its ‘Indie Selects’ initiative to showcase a selection of indie games every month – and as we celebrate the program’s first anniversary, the team has selected six essential indie titles from 2024.
Team Xbox mentions that this collection features “six outstanding Indie Selects titles from 2024 that we think you must experience” – and remember, these were specifically curated as non–Game Pass titles to give these releases extra visibility.
Without further delay, here are Microsoft’s premier Indie Selects choices from the past year:
Xbox states, “each of these titles beautifully represents what our industry aims to accomplish,” and we must say, these are quite commendable selections from the team. In fact, we reviewed three of these 2024 indie games right here at Pure Xbox and thoroughly enjoyed every single one of them – so we’ll provide those written reviews below.
Lastly, Microsoft has set up a special Indie Selects Anniversary Collection on the Xbox Store, for those of you who wish to explore these titles and see if you’re inspired to pick any of them up. Here’s how you can access the collection:
- From Xbox Home, select Store
- In the Store, go to the left navigation bar and select Games.
- On the Games homepage, scroll down until you find the collection!
