The Xbox Winter Demo event is back! Starting now and continuing until the end of 2024, Microsoft is providing access to more than 35 free demos as part of the ID@Xbox initiative, with some being quite early versions of games that are far from finished.

Among the offerings, we have two titles that are already confirmed for Xbox Game Pass: The Alters and Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo. The latter was just confirmed for the service earlier today.

You can access all the demos through the links below, but keep in mind that we’ll be adding a few more as the week progresses—some of them haven’t officially launched yet. If you prefer to access them via your console, it’s best to navigate to the “game demos” section of the Microsoft Store, but you may also find a tab on the dashboard that mentions the “Xbox Indie Game Fest Demo Event”—they might be available that way as well.

“These ‘game demos’ are not the conventional type. Usually, the demos you encounter in our Demo channel are produced after the game is finished (or nearly finished) and represent an almost final version. Consider these as ‘show floor demos’ and not necessarily a reflection of the final product. You’ll get to experience these games early – quite early – allowing you the opportunity to share your feedback! Remember, these games will continue to progress and become more refined as they near release.”
