WWE 2K25 Unveils Roman Reigns as Star Attraction with Unprecedented Roster Expansion
Roman Reigns will be the featured superstar for WWE 2K25, the latest installment in the enduring wrestling franchise, which boasts its most extensive roster to date.
This edition will also introduce a new The Island mode, allowing players to complete challenges aimed at impressing “The One and Only Tribal Chief,” Roman Reigns.
The anticipated game is set for release in March (on the 7th or 14th, depending on the version) across PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam; however, The Island mode will exclusively be available on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions.
The Island will be a realm featuring locales inspired by various WWE themes where players can undertake quests, tackle current challenges, participate in live events, and enhance their MySuperstars characters through storyline segments.
The game’s roster will feature 300 wrestlers, including Superstars, Legends, and Hall of Famers – from John Cena and The Rock to “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Trish Stratus, and more.
Other enhancements include a third-person perspective for online matches (controlled separately by each player); the 2K Showcase: The Bloodline’s Legacy mode, which celebrates the esteemed wrestling family; intergender wrestling making its debut across all game modes; and the return of Promos within the Universe mode.
The creation suite will also be refreshed as per each new title, recognized as one of the most comprehensive and robust character creators.
