Wukong Claims the Throne: Steam Awards 2024 Crowns Game of the Year

By on January 3, 2025 0 14 Views

The Steam community has awarded Dark Delusion: Wukong the prestigious Game of the Year accolade during the 2024 Steam Awards.

The action RPG from Sport Science also secured the Best Narrative Rich Game award and the Most Challenging Game You Stuck With award.

Steam account holders choose the winners of the Steam Awards by casting votes across 11 categories (some of which are somewhat humorous) throughout the Winter Sale. Voting was open from December 19 to December 31, following nominations that were already determined by the Steam community prior to this period.

Other notable winners this year included Elden Ring, which received the Labor of Love award—given to a title that has received substantial support from its creators long after its release.

God of War Ragnarok, which launched on PC last year, earned the Best Game on Steam Deck award. Helldivers 2 was awarded the Better with Friends accolade, while Silent Hill 2 secured the Best Visual Style Award.

The Most Innovative Gameplay Award was given to the early access title Liar’s Bar, which challenges four players to engage in deadly games of liar’s dice and liar’s deck.

You can view the complete list of winners below or check it out on Steam.
