Images allegedly captured during the filming of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 have surfaced online, including visuals of a hauntingly vintage Freddy Fazbear pizzeria.
Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions announced the sequel back in April of last year, yet we have learned very little since then, making these images – which feature a dilapidated sign of the toy animatronics Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica – particularly intriguing for enthusiasts.
It remains uncertain whether the forthcoming film will adhere to the prequel timeline of the second game, set in the shadowy 1980s.
A fan has reportedly noticed “some FNAF merchandise being sold for a potential scene” in the sequel, as well.
While not officially confirmed – so take all this with a generous pinch of skepticism – these snapshots are said to have been taken in River City, just outside of New Orleans. Initially, the OP considered it little more than “a small [local] fair” and nothing significant, but they later observed signs indicating that the location would be restricted to the public by 3 PM, followed by signs for “Extras” and “a collection of trailers.” So interpret that as you will.
