Speculations and whispers regarding the forthcoming ‘Switch 2’ have seemingly surged since the start of 2025, with accessory maker Genki causing a stir with its recent display at CES 2025. Not only that, but images circulating on Reddit seem to reveal a legitimate Joy-Con from the Switch successor, suggesting a novel feature in the form of an optical sensor.

Understandably, fans are going crazy with theories, and many have taken it upon themselves to create renders of the Switch 2 that they believe would accurately represent the final device based on the multitude of leaks.

Therefore, we decided to compile some of the notable renders we have encountered so far for your viewing pleasure. It’s crucial to remember that many of these are purely speculative based on rumored information, and none of them are confirmed to be 100% accurate. Nevertheless, it’s all in good fun while we await the official reveal from Nintendo.

So without further delay, let’s delve into the captivating and imaginative realm of Switch 2 renders…

To start, tech site @91mobiles shared what it claims to be a genuine glimpse at the final design of the Switch 2. The most noteworthy aspect seems to be the color scheme, which features a black Switch with blue and orange accents on the Joy-Con controllers.

Blue and orange have historically complemented each other well, with movie posters often utilizing the combination to striking effect. We wouldn’t be shocked if this ends up being quite accurate.

Shortly thereafter, user @CardnlH presented their own renders of the Switch 2, closely following the lead of 91mobiles for the device itself, while also choosing to showcase the rumored dock and the Switch 2 logo. We can see that the logo incorporates, as rumored, the numeral ‘2’ alongside the familiar Switch icon.

User @Elymar_Tj took it a step further with their render, featuring a video demonstrating the Switch 2 using the rumored mouse functionality through the Joy-Con’s optical sensor. They speculate that games like Metroid Prime Remastered could be played with the sensor, potentially allowing players to control the game similarly to a traditional PC mouse and keyboard setup. It’s a fascinating concept, but take this one with a healthy degree of skepticism.

Of course, we can’t overlook accessory maker Genki either. It shared the next video render on its official website.
