While it seems we are in for a quiet week on Xbox Game Pass, the platform is set to pick up pace at the end of the month, featuring the day one release of Sniper Elite: Resistance. Indeed, following the Game Pass launch of Sniper Elite 5 just a couple of years back, the franchise returns to the service with a new, feature-rich installment at the month’s end.
Although this Sniper Elite entry does not bear the number 6, the developer emphasizes that Resistance has an “epic standalone campaign” and “intense online multiplayer modes” – which includes the “fan-favorite Invasion Mode” making its comeback.
Here is the complete list of key features for the new Sniper Elite installment:
- Epic standalone campaign
- Signature X-ray Kill Cam
- Enhanced shooting physics
- New propaganda missions
- Authentic World War II weaponry and customization
- Beloved Invasion Mode
- Challenging online multiplayer modes
You can also take a look at these features in action via the team’s new trailer. While Resistance appears very much like yet another Sniper Elite game, we are still looking forward to it. SE5 was arguably the best in the series thus far, and it remains an excellent stealth action game!
We will all be eager to see if Sniper Elite: Resistance lives up to the name when it launches on January 30th, 2025, alongside the next Xbox Game Pass title.
