Welcome to the new Fortnite Chapter 6 map. In Chapter 6, Season 1, Fortnite has shifted from its Mediterranean setting to the Far East. Now, you can embark on a new journey across an island heavily inspired by Asian architecture, culture, and mythology.

In this guide, we will explore all of the new landing spots, landmarks, and attractions to discover, which should prepare you for your future adventures in the game. If tradition is upheld, this map will serve as the foundation for the upcoming year of Fortnite. It may change significantly every season, and even within a season, but keep this in mind–or something like it–your new Fortnite home for the coming year.

With that in mind, let’s go through the various new hotspots you can visit, the calm spots where you can catch your breath, and all the chaos in between. Here’s your overview of the cherry blossom-themed new Fortnite Chapter 6 map.

Initially, the Fortnite Chapter 6 map in Season 1 will feature an impressive 18 named locations. While you might notice glimpses of previous Fortnite islands here and there, each of these locations is brand new to the game. You can view them all in the image above, or refer to the list below where we have outlined each one from northwest to southeast.

  • Whiffy Wharf
  • Flooded Frogs
  • Magic Mosses
  • Demon’s Dojo
  • Pumped Energy
  • Twinkle Terrace
  • Lost Lake
  • Brutal Boxcars
  • Nightshift Forest
  • Foxy Floodgate

Seaport City and Bright Span

Seaport City and Bright Span

This season’s map merges ancient Eastern landmarks with modern marvels. This latter element is exemplified beautifully by this elegant bridge that serves as the main feature within Bright Span.

While Mega City isn’t present on the map, you may find areas around the new island that bring it to mind.

The Great Turtle

The Great Turtle

One of the most intriguing attractions this season is The Great Turtle, a creature said to be searching for its lost mate. How and when this turtle will move remains to be seen, but the teaser trailer suggests they will be somewhat mobile. Perhaps if this reptile is popular and elusive enough, it won’t be long before you drop onto the island exclaiming like Michael Scott: “Where are the turtles?!”

Shogun's Solitude

Shogun’s Solitude

For those seeking a challenge, you can scale the towering heights of Shogun’s Solitude where tough NPC foes await–and surely a few human challengers as well, right?

More like Ghost of Tsushima. This game is stunning.
