Fans of The Matrix can currently add all four films on 4K Blu-ray to their collection for a low price. Amazon and Walmart offers The Matrix Deja Vu Collection for an incredible price of just $35 (previously $85), a remarkable deal. We usually see this box set at this low price only during major sales events like Black Friday and Prime Day.
The original Matrix film, released back in 1999, is arguably still the best of the series and has aged impressively well. A landmark achievement in storytelling, action, special effects, and sound design, it’s a tightly crafted blockbuster that captivated audiences and pioneered new standards at the time with its groundbreaking slow-motion choreography. It seemed as if almost every action film was emulating Neo’s bullet-dodging stunts following this film’s debut.
While they may not be as highly acclaimed, The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions are still fantastic movies in their own right. The Wachowski Sisters returned to direct the sequels, and with a larger budget, the action sequences reached new heights with breathtaking freeway chases, an epic showdown in the Merovingian’s manor, and an all-out battle in Zion between humanity and an endless array of deadly robotic squids. The Matrix Resurrections serves as a nostalgic revisit to that universe, and although it’s not as great as the earlier films, it still presents some thought-provoking themes and concepts. This collection includes plenty of extras, including interviews, trailers, and behind-the-scenes featurettes.
