A Silent Hill 2 enthusiast suspects they have discovered a concealed message that lends further support to a long-held fan theory regarding the iconic horror game.
The player thinks that on two televisions featured in Silent Hill 2 Remake – one in the hospital cafeteria and another in the nurses’ lounge – a coded message is being transmitted in Morse code.

“A message is broadcasting on the television in Brookhaven Hospital, sent via morse code,” YouTuber Shiba explained.
“The audio is mostly masked by the static from the television, making it hard to comprehend. Nevertheless, the Morse code is clear, accompanied by clicking sounds akin to a telegraph. The loud clicks indicate the start of a transmission, whereas the softer ones signal its conclusion. If we pay close attention, we can decode the following message.”

Together with the concealed message found behind the mysterious photographs in Silent Hill 2 Remake, the Morse code message further supports the prevailing fan theory that James Sunderland is trapped in the town of Silent Hill, endlessly retracing his search for Mary on a cycle of “again and again and again and.”
