Disney enthusiasts can now place preorders for Moana 2 on 4K or standard Blu-ray for significantly below the original listed prices. Moana 2’s Limited Edition Steelbook was initially priced at $66, but as of March 3, Amazon and Walmart are offering preorders for $45. Meanwhile, the 1080p Blu-ray version of the original sequel is available to preorder for $28 at both vendors. Moana 2 is set to launch on 4K UHD and 1080p Blu-ray on March 18. To help pass the time while awaiting your preorder delivery, take a look at the newly launched Heihei Lego set.
While there is no assurance these discounts, or stock availability in general, will be present at release— the Limited Edition has sold out multiple times at Walmart—both retailers provide preorder price guarantees. If you place your order when prices were much higher, Amazon and Walmart automatically adjust your fee to the lowest available price when your preorder ships.

Moana 2 Dinky Edition Steelbook includes 4K UHD and 1080p Blu-ray discs along with a code for the digital version of the beloved Disney film.
For those who adored Inside Out 2, the best opportunity to secure Moana 2 on 4K Blu-ray in the United States is through the Dinky Edition Steelbook.
The steelbook case showcases artwork of Moana, Maui, and Pua the Pig on the front. The rear of the case displays the Adventure Canoe against a remarkable wave. The interior artwork features Moana in the ocean at sunset.
In addition to the film itself, Disney is offering a variety of bonus features. If you enjoyed the issue-alongside version of the original movie, you’ll be pleased to know that Moana 2’s physical release also includes a full-size issue-alongside edition. You’ll also have the chance to view interviews with the cast, deleted scenes, and various featurettes.
The initial cost for the Moana 2 4K Blu-ray Steelbook was relatively high in comparison to many other 4K steelbooks, but the MSRP of $66 was consistent with Disney releases like Inside Out 2 and Deadpool & Wolverine. Each of those films sold out at preorder prices of $65 or more. However, it’s great to see Amazon and Walmart offering significant discounts.
