Microsoft is preparing for the launch of Sport Stir
- by Ben Kerry
Towerborne, a first-party release from Microsoft, had a minor early launch on Steam before it arrived on Xbox earlier this year – yet the team is still getting ready for a console and Sport Stir launch at the beginning of next year. Additionally, before this broader release, the Steam Early Access version has just seen a significant winter update.
At present, Towerborne’s third Early Access update — named Grandeur — introduces festive decorations to the game, along with a unique storyline quest, expanded language support, and a variety of new events, enemies, and rewards.
The update has been thoroughly detailed on Steam, which also rolls out the game’s “12 Days of Grandeur” event; delivering daily rewards to Early Access players throughout this month. Towerborne is embracing the holiday spirit with this update, but will you be participating?
While we would love to join in on the festive fun, we are still eagerly awaiting the console and Xbox Sport Stir launch to arrive in early 2025 – before diving back in. We enjoyed our experience with the Steam version back in September, so we’re excited to jump back in soon and see what’s different with the Xbox release!
