The film is clearly enjoying a significant revival

There is little doubt that the Sonic The Hedgehog movie series has evolved into a remarkable triumph, and the latest installment (Sonic 3) seems to be performing better than ever – making waves in the Xbox realm as well.

Currently, in the “Top Paid” Xbox charts in both the UK and the US, five distinct Sonic titles are showcased. The newly launched Sonic X Shadow Generations is leading the charts, which SEGA will undoubtedly be extremely pleased about, while Sonic Origins Plus is performing particularly well in the UK due to its significantly reduced price tag of 60% off.

These titles are part of the “Last Chance” sale, which officially ends later today, January 13th:

In terms of titles that aren’t discounted, several Xbox 360 games have unexpectedly appeared in the Top Paid charts. Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 are ranked within the top 100 in both the UK and US, while Sonic Unleashed is just a bit further behind. As mentioned, these aren’t on sale, but they are still available at very reasonable prices.

You can go back and discover more options, such as Sonic Colors: Ultimate, which is currently available at a discount, but you get the idea – the success of the film has led to some surprising Xbox sales for SEGA in recent weeks.

As for recommendations, you can hardly go wrong with anything we’ve mentioned here – the new Sonic X Shadow Generations is a blast, the Xbox 360 titles evoke fond nostalgia, and Origins Plus is a fantastic compilation of classics.

Just remember, you only have until the end of the day to take advantage of the discounts if you’re interested!
