Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 & 4 Release Date Leaks Just Before the Reveal

Launching this July

Update[Tue 4th Mar 2025, 6pm]: It’s confirmed! Activision has released Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 for the Nintendo Switch, set to launch on 11th July 2025. Of course, there’s no word on a native Switch 2 release at this moment, but we’re excited to immerse ourselves in these timeless games with refreshed graphics and gameplay.

The trailer provides a glimpse at a brand-new level called Waterpark while Motörhead’s legendary ‘Ace of Spades’ plays in the background. The official website confirms that new skaters and modes will also be included – featuring expanded create-a-skater and create-a-park options – and it reiterates the previously leaked information about the deluxe edition reveal.

Interestingly, it is also noted that this has been “authentically remade” with “streamlined objectives and the classic 2-minute format.” Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 famously removed the timer for its Career Mode, so it will be interesting to see if this new release has somehow brought it back.

Original Leak: Interestingly, leak sources simply can’t resist, as new information regarding the yet-to-be-announced Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 has been shared ahead of an official announcement later today.

Billbil-kun, known for reliably leaking new games before their official announcements, has shared two posts on social media detailing the game’s leaked release date and pre-order bonuses (thanks, VGC).

Accompanied by a slightly blurred piece of key art (though the title is visible in the bottom right corner), the posts indicate that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 will launch on Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on 11th July 2025. Billbil-kun also confirms that a collector’s edition priced at $129.99 will be available, potentially offering players 3-days early access.

The standard edition is priced at $49.99 while the deluxe edition is set at $69.99. Those who pre-order either will gain access to the Wireframe Tony Shader and the Foundry Demo when available. Meanwhile, the deluxe edition will feature Doom Slayer and Revenant skater characters, an Unmaykr Hoverboard, and in-game music (likely also inspired by DOOM, though unconfirmed). Like the collector’s edition, this will also provide 3-days early access.

According to the official website, it is assumed that this title is being developed at Iron Galaxy, who previously worked on the PC version of Vicarious Visions’ Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2. An official announcement will occur at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT
