The Closure of Dynasty Warrior M Servers: A 15-Month Journey Comes to an End
Statement refrains from providing a detailed explanation for the termination
Koei Tecmo and Nexon have announced plans to terminate their free-to-play action game Dynasty Warrior M just 15 months after its release.
In a blog entry, the team conveyed its “sincere appreciation” to all “warriors who have engaged with Dynasty Warriors M, providing feedback and support throughout the past year since launch,” but mentioned that “despite [the] continued assistance during our shared journey, we must regrettably inform you that Dynasty Warriors M will cease operations on February 20th, 2025.”
The announcement did not elaborate on the reasons for the game’s closure but stated the team would “make every effort to offer the best service until the very end.”
It further informed players that there would likely be no reimbursements for any in-game currency or items.
