Indeed, the ‘Cheetozard’ commenced bidding at $250, before capturing an incredible 60 bids from participants. The auction concluded on March 2, 2025, with a final bid of $72,000 (the buyer’s premium brought the total to $87,840).

This Cheeto apparently has not been altered to look like Charizard; it formed that way naturally. And yes, while we do admit that it does resemble the iconic fire-type Pokémon, it is quite bewildering to us that there are individuals willing to part with the equivalent of around 250 Switch OLED consoles for a single Cheeto.
