The X-Men are poised to play a significant role in Avengers: Doomsday. This is evident since several of them, such as Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, have been confirmed for the monumental MCU crossover. Their involvement is sparking extensive speculation, and some enthusiasts believe they’ve even spotted the Avengers vs. X-Men emblem.

Following the livestream where we saw the brave cast, revealed seat by seat, Marvel Studios shared a photo showcasing everyone’s seats at the start of production. Although it appears ordinary, a user on Reddit noticed something intriguing about the shadows in a specific section.

On the left side of the image, the lights behind the chairs cast a shadow that strikingly resembles an ‘X’ and an ‘A’ resting atop each other. The current theory suggests this could be a subtle hint at a logo unifying both groups.

While this might seem a bit far-fetched, there is certainly some precedent. In the lead-up to Avengers: Endgame, before the official title was revealed, the Russo brothers shared a behind-the-scenes photo with the message, “Look closely.” Fans eventually deciphered the letters spelling ‘Endgame’ from the image, fueling speculation about the film’s title.

This is essentially a similar scenario. It’s enough to ignite speculation on what the X-Men and Avengers film might look like. Marvel Studios could very well pursue some adaptation of Avengers vs. X-Men, where both teams face off due to the emergence of the Phoenix Force.

Another fascinating idea is the inclusion of the new Secret Wars comic series, wherein Doctor Doom constructs Battleworld to set heroes against one another. In this narrative arc, Doomsday would enlist the Fantastic Four and X-Men to assault the Sacred Timeline. While everyone is preoccupied with that, Doom plans to replace Loki as the God of Stories.

This leads to Secret Wars for Avengers 6. There seems to be some validity to all these speculations currently, especially since we possess very little concrete information.
