Or did the chaotic launch trigger your response?

Earlier today, we learned about Asobo Studio’s new ‘World Update’ trailer (above) for Brazil and nearby regions – featuring a range of fresh locations for both Microsoft Flight Simulator and MSFS 2024 this month. The update seems attractive, and could definitely offer gamers some exciting new destinations to explore within both games – however, we want to know one thing: are you still engaged with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 at this stage?
We inquire because, well, the game notoriously had a tough time lifting off late last year, with its cloud-based architecture posing challenges. The developer had previous experience to draw from, but the switch to loading nearly all of the game’s data initially was a choice that didn’t quite pan out right from the start.
To be honest, we haven’t really returned to this one since – although we appreciated the 2020 launch, the entire cloud-based predicament hindered our ability to invest much time into the new version. So, we’re genuinely curious – has everything been resolved since then? Are you enjoying the game nearly six months later, or are you still facing issues?
Nevertheless, one aspect that is pretty cool, is that Xbox and Asobo are continuing to enhance the older game as well. This month’s South American-themed update is for both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 – so those of us looking for a more offline experience can enjoy these newly refreshed areas in the earlier title as well.
Is MSFS 2024 worth playing yet? Have you been enjoying it since launch? Share your experience with us in the comments below.
