“Part Witcher, part Game of Thrones”
While we are accustomed to postponements around this time of year, it is quite uncommon for a game to be moved up, and that’s exactly what is happening with the action-packed hack ‘n’ slash sequel Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter.
Initially slated for a February 2025 launch, it has now officially been rescheduled to the first month of the year and is set to debut on January 28, 2025. Digital pre-orders are already live for $24.99 USD, with a Deluxe Edition that includes the base game, along with two DLCs (the Augur of the Draugr Pack and the Hair to the Throne Pack) priced at $29.99.

The sequel has even been characterized as “part Witcher, part Game of Thrones”. Here’s a bit more about what to anticipate from this release when it arrives on Switch:
– An expansive tale of combat and retribution – Whiskers of Winter’s narrative about Arlo’s battle against the menacing Dark Fly Bats offers an immersive experience, featuring a semi-open RPG world spanning six unique biomes to discover and new animal factions to encounter.
– Dynamic combat – Building on the series’ signature intense combat, Tails of Iron 2 introduces enhanced weapon mechanics, including four elemental effects (fire, ice, electricity, and poison) to equip Arlo’s arsenal with extraordinary powers to use against adversaries.
– NEW Monster hunting mechanics – To shift the odds in favor of tackling the new fanged hordes of Dark Fly Bats, Arlo can track and defeat 15 formidable and challenging beasts to collect their remains for rare crafting materials.
– Upgraded base building – Construct and enhance the ravaged settlement of Winter’s Edge to gain access to more…
