Could we possibly glimpse it in 2025?!
We have not unequivocally heard much about the long-awaited Everwild over the past few years, yet Rare has been diligently toiling away on it, and we may have a sense that some form of reveal will be disclosed to us in 2025.
As part of their “Happy Holidays” announcement on social media, Rare shared a new piece of artwork from Everwild, which you can see below, that has once again sparked our curiosity to learn more about it… hopefully next year!
Rare first introduced Everwild to the world back in late 2019, but it has evidently encountered several development hurdles since then. In recent months, we’ve encountered rumors that development is progressing smoothly on the project, and Xbox head Phil Spencer even mentioned the title during his recent visit to Rare’s offices in the UK.
We’re not eagerly anticipating to play Everwild in 2025 — we don’t really even know what type of game it is (!) — but here’s hoping Xbox might provide more details during the summer, or perhaps even at an Xbox Developer Direct in January!
