SteelSeries has introduced its new QcK Performance Series of gaming mouse pads, each featuring one of three surface types: Speed, Control, and Balance. Every mouse pad is crafted from a variety of material and offers a distinct texture. The QcK Performance Series is now available for purchase directly from SteelSeries.
We had the chance to evaluate these new mouse pads and can confirm that each one has its own unique feel, yet all three provide a premium touch. SteelSeries is offering two different sizes for each variant: Super for $40 and XL for $50. The Super measures 19.3 x 16.5 inches, thus providing significantly more area than an average mouse pad while still primarily serving as a surface for mouse movement. If you prefer a full desk mat with ample space for your keyboard and other devices, the XL is the better choice at 35.4 x 15.75 inches.
All mouse pads from the QcK Performance Series feature 3.5mm anti-slip neoprene foam bases and low-profile stitched edges. Below, we’ve detailed all three QcK Performance surface types and included comparison images of the two different sizes.

Super – $40 | XL – $50
The Control surface uses a micro-beaded texture to increase friction, allowing for more precise movements and better stopping power. If your gaming style requires pinpoint accuracy—like sniping in Call of Duty, for instance—the QcK Performance Control may be the right choice for you.
