Another piece of information for #SonicRacingCrossWorlds has been discovered. The metadata from the SEGA Asia website states the following: “Drift Across Dimensions! Race across land, sea, air, space, and time in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds!”
Original Story: At this year’s Game Awards event, SEGA announced it would be launching a brand new racing game officially titled Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
Currently, we have only received a cinematic trailer, but as you might anticipate, Shadow the Hedgehog is involved. This title is expected to be “coming soon” to the Nintendo Switch and various other platforms. Sega has also provided additional insights about this upcoming release in an official PR statement:
“Unveiled during the event was Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, the racing game featuring beloved characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog™ universe. The game introduces a unique racing mechanic that aims to take Sonic racing enthusiasts into a novel dimension.”
In related news, Sega also announced that it is developing a new Virtua Fighter game, along with a fresh concept titled ‘Mission Century‘ from Ry Ga Gotoku Studio (Yakuza, Like A Dragon).
