
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Takes Center Stage with Multiple Nominations at the 2025 BAFTA Games Awards
The nominations for the BAFTA Games Awards 2025 have been announced, and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is at the forefront.
The impressive sequel from Ninja Theory has received nominations in 11 categories, including British Game and Technical Achievement.
A total of 41 titles spanning 17 categories have garnered acknowledgments.
Astro Bot and Still Wakes the Deep have each received nominations in eight categories, while the comedic platformer Thank Goodness You Are Here! is in the running for seven awards.
Black Myth: Wukong has collected six nominations, whereas Helldivers II has been recognized in five categories.
Numerous impressive nominees including Animal Well, Balatro, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, LEGO Horizon Adventures, Tetris Forever, Pacific Force, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Files, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard are also recognized.
“Today’s announcement of 41 nominated games showcases innovative, daring, and wonderfully diverse genres—cinematic blockbusters, narrative-driven adventures, multiplayer online experiences, and family games,” commented BAFTA CEO Jane Millichip. “Our nominations provide a wonderful opportunity for gamers to explore titles they may not have otherwise considered.”
The winners will be revealed at the 21st BAFTA Games Awards in London on April 8, 2025.
